Aether completed a project for to train staff in Government of Jersey in using Aether's Carbon Scenario Model to quantify the carbon impacts of net zero policies. The model is a key tool for the Government of Jersey for informing policy decisions on climate actions, and other related policies.

In December 2024, Aether’s Melanie Hobson and Bob Boyce worked with the Asian Development Bank to provide capacity building on MRV and ETS to government Ministries in Kazakhstan.

Aether’s Melanie Hobson worked with the Asian Development Bank to undertake consultation and provide capacity building on MRV to Lao PDR in August 2023.

Justin Goodwin was invited to be on a panel at a South-South Exchange lead by Saint Lucia on climate finance tracking for low emission, climate resilient development.

At the end of August Aether’s Justin Goodwin and Laurence Opie are travelling to Libreville to attend Africa Climate week hosted by the Government of Gabon.

This week Aether hosted its first collaborative meeting for small national inventory teams, and we welcomed participants spanning Europe from Iceland to Cyprus.

Aether is proud to continue working with many EU national governments and bodies on climate change and air pollution issues.

Aether is providing remote training on GHG inventories and MRV systems to stakeholders in Liberia, supported by Nexus International University.

Aether is working in collaboration with Petromall and the Virtual University of Uganda to provide remote training to Uganda’s national inventory team.
